Singer, songwriter, and violinist Ada Pasternak was born in Moscow, Russia. Pasternak moved with her family to America when she was six years old. The daughter of musician parents, Ada spent her childhood steeped in classical music and eventually developed into a virtuoso violinist who won competitions as a soloist. Pasternak attended the Berklee College of Music on a Presidential Scholarship. Following graduation from college, Pasternak moved to New York City. Pasternak has appeared in a few music videos for the popular musical collective Postmodern Jukebox.
